BIOLUMINESCENCE

Bioluminescence refers to the emission of light by a living organism, resulting from a chemical reaction. My infographic, completed as Graphic Design 2 studio project, invites audiences of varying familiarity with the topic to learn more about the natural phenomenon and the kinds of organisms around us that bioluminescence impacts. My design mimics the bright colored glow emitted by bioluminescent organisms and embraces the organic nature of the subject matter through organic holding shape formations.
